Director Jaime Robledo needed costume to look like it was made of pieces gathered from around the game-playing map as part of the role-playing experience in an online game. He also wanted it to look like the energy armor from the popular RPG Mass Effect 2 and to utilize special LED pads acquired from the scenic designer. I got a set of clear dirt bike body armor, a clear replacement helmet visor, and set of black leather gloves from a local motorbike accessory shop, followed by a raid of nearly every kind of clear plastic cutlery or dish ware currently in stock at a nearby 99-Cent store, and attached it all to a coverall. The entire costume was rigged for quick change.
