When I accepted Hedwig as a project, I was excited about the chance to give one of my favorite shows my own touch, and happy that it was a small show since I had several other things going on at the same time. Then the director decided what the show really needed were more Hedwigs. LOTS of them. So that turned out to be my biggest costuming challenge, giving each Hedwig a unique look appropriate to the aspect of Hedwig’s personality they portrayed, while still unifying them all together as the same character. Wigs and makeup were designed by Kendra Johnson.The show was eventually remounted after some tweaking.
