The first full musical I ever designed was for Halloween Magic, a nonprofit organization that raised funds for HIV/AIDS service organizations in the Houston area. The story was based on the popular musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, but reinpterpreted as murder mystery. My favorite costume was, of course, the Wanda June spelling bee dress.
